Margarita Diaz - Office Manager
Margarita Diaz joined the Foundation for Community Empowerment in 2004. Her responsibilities are to welcome visitors and partners to FCE; direct calls to appropriate FCE staff; receive, distribute and mail a variety of correspondence; do filing; maintain conference rooms; schedule appointments; and various other duties. Maggie is bilingual and also serves as an interpreter for Spanish-speaking clients.
She previously worked for The Law Offices of Bruce A. Flint. As a Legal Assistant/Secretary, she interviewed clients, set up claims with insurance companies, worked on property damage values, scheduled recorded statements, prepared and distributed correspondence, answered phones, ordered medicals, and submitted demands for clients.
Mrs. Diaz grew up in East Dallas and currently resides in Southeast Dallas. She graduated from Skyline High School and obtained a degree from El Centro Community College. Mrs. Diaz volunteers in DISD schools and Buckner Children and Family Services.
Mrs. Diaz and her husband have three children who attend DISD schools.
